Greece Women's Tour

15 days: September 5-20, 2024

You are invited...to PARADISE!

Imagine swimming in crystal clear waters, dining on delectable Mediterranean food (think melt-in-your-mouth feta cheese, olives & olive oil, pastries, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, crusty bread), laughing and singing and dancing with locals at tavernas, and overall just being charmed by the people, sights and sounds of Greece. So much ancient history to learn about and so much beauty to behold!

Is Greece on your bucket list, like most of us?

Have you imagined yourself walking down the cobblestone streets near Acropolis, bobbing in the super salty turquoise sea, eating the freshest and most delicious feta cheese and olive oil on earth?

Are you a fun-loving woman looking for a unique and super special way to visit this magical, mystical and ancient land?

Are you needing a get-away, an opportunity to unplug, connect in sisterhood, and connect in nature and to the simple sweet joys of life… with a sweet and small group of like-minded women?

You are invited!

Ahh Greece! We’ve all dreamed of visiting, haven’t we? The crystal turquoise blue sea. The sweeping views. The music and warm climate of the Mediterranean!

Athens ~ Delphi ~ Lesvos ~ Chios

During these epic 15 days we will visit Athens, Plaka, Delphi, Lesvos Island & Chios Island

Itinerary:

Days 1-2: Athens (Acropolis) & Nea Makri

The first few days will be spent in the Athens area. Our first day will be a day to decompress from international travel, swim in the pool or nearby beach, dine on delicious local seafood & Greek delights, and get to know one another.

On day 2 we visit Acropolis & Plaka areas. We will shop, eat and enjoy this ancient city

During these first few days you will get a taste of both big city charm and the peacefulness of the seaside!

Days 3, 4 & 5: Galaxidi, Delphi & Pavliani

Next we travel a few hours by van to a beautiful harbor village, Galaxidi. We will enjoy the area, with its cobblestone streets lined with cafes and tavernas, walking paths and swimming coves! We spend the next 3 nights in a boutique hotel in Galaxidi, famous for its homemade breakfasts!

Galaxidi is a short distance to the ancient sacred precinct, Delphi. Delphi is an epic place, its ancient ruins set amidst towering mountains and forests. We will walk the ruins as well as visit the historical museum there to learn all we can about this sacred place!

Our last day in the area will be spent exploring the whimsical forests of Pavliani, as well as a sunset dip in the healing Thermopylae Hot Springs. In the afternoon we will also enjoy a picnic lunch... amongst the trees, streams, fairies & goblins of Pavliani!

Days 6-10: Lesvos Island

Our next stop is Lesvos. We will take a short flight from Athens to the 3rd largest island in Greece. Expect castles, mansions, olive groves and beaches galore! While visiting the island, we will explore the medieval village of Molyvos. We also visit Eftalou, a beautiful beach with natural thermal springs, and we will spend a day at Therma Spa for total rejuvenation!

Days 11-15: Chios Island

We conclude our magical Greece tour on the small but gorgeous island of Chios. Chios is home to the Mastic tree, whose sap is used in endless tinctures, creams, potions and oils for healing the teeth, stomach, immune system and beautifying the skin and body! We will visit the Mastic Museum and visit some of our favorite beauty shops to buy organic products. We will also visit the ancient village of Mesta, which is situated inside an old castle. In addition, each and every day will be full of BEACH TIME. We present a beach more beautiful than the one before. You will not be disappointed with our beloved paradise island!

Hotels will be 4 stars. We choose charming boutique hotels whenever possible! Expect to travel by car, van & domestic flight. Some of the car journeys will be a few hours long... a small travel pillow may benefit you! Every day will include group activities, but there will be plenty of time for exploration, relaxation, and solitude.

Our goal is to provide an experience that is gently guided and safe, yet with room for much freedom, less time constraints and less stress.

We will not be rushing around but savoring each special place on our tour. This will give you the opportunity to connect to the land & people in a deeper way.
